The hugely successful inaugural TouchStar User Group Conference took place at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester on Wednesday 10th September. The event was solely for TouchStar customers offering presentations and discussions on key issues regarding current call centre business and technology issues.

The day commenced in entertaining fashion with a warm welcome from MD Dave Fricker. Steve Bederman, CEO of TouchStar Corporation provided us with a perspective on the goals and vision of TouchStar from a global perspective.. Dave Fricker went on to introduce the new featues and benefits of the new TouchStar Enterprise solution.

Next up was Janine Paterson from the DMA who discussed the latest regulatory information and proposals. A lively debate on the TPS followed!

Dave Robert Fricker was master of ceremonies for the second half of the day, commencing with an introduction to the several utilities designed to help you make the most of a TouchStar system.

Our very own Adrian Gourley followed, discussing the best ways to motivate agents and increase call centre morale. Following on from this, Ron Mundy from First Touch Training spelled out the best methods to recruit and train call centre agents.

The final session was delivered by Ben Booth who delivered a session on how to make best use of data.
